New investment with focus on rural development in Kosovo

I-AM Vision Microfinance Market Commentary

During the month of October, the I-AM Vision Microfinance Fund placed investments of about 4 million Euros in the Caucasus and South-Eastern Europe.

A disbursement of 2 million Euros reached the microfinance institution (MFI) KRK in Kosovo, which was founded in 1999 and currently caters to more than 28.000 clients in the country. The typical client of KRK are micro-businesses and farmers in rural areas, which are too small to be eligible for bank loans. With the help and support of renowned development financial institutions like EFSE and EBRD, KRK focuses on rural development and energy efficiency.
